Due to the circumstances surrounding her birth, who she is was instilled in “Angel”  at an early age.  Angelle was always told she was “chosen” for her unique path. Given up for adoption twice before 3 months, due to the color of her skin, she was ultimately adopted by the Smith family, prominent black business owners and strong community members who instilled deep values of faith, self awareness, resilience and fortitude in her. Her father instilled in her that “Angel” was not only who she was but also what she came to do. 

Angelle’s  life experiences and her unconventional perspective have taught her what it means to trust herself and to not let anyone tell her who she is or allow others to create her narrative. She has always created and has been the narrator of her own story.

With a powerful story of love, conviction, self awareness, transformation and understanding, Angelle has alchemized her challenges and trauma into a career as an inspirational storyteller, speaker, author, mentors and mastermentalist, helping others discover their truth through storytelling, the use of universal principles and the ability to control their own narrative by embracing their experiences. Her journey has been featured in the New York Times, CNN, and has led to a potential TED Talk, movie offers, a published book, entitled MasterMental and a memoir in the works.

Angelle continues to empower and challenge others to reveal and heal conscious and unconscious generational trauma. To become all that they’re created to be.          She is working with the incarcerated, those facing reentry, the un-housed population, at-risk youth, and families as a whole, sharing her insights and wisdom to inspire personal transformation and generational healing.
